Lisa Tabor Shipley, 54, of Scottsville, KY passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. The Bowling Green, KY native was an applications and programming group manager for Western Kentucky University, a former employee of Sumitomo and attends Living Hope Baptist Church. She formerly attended Victory Hill Ministries and was saved at the age of 10 at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Troy Tabor, Sr. and Junes Stamps Tabor, who survives.
She is survived by her husband: Rob Shipley, Scottsville, KY;
1 son: Caeden Shipley, Scottsville, KY;
1 daughter: Haleigh Shockley and husband, Nick, Scottsville, KY;
Her mother: June Tabor, Alvaton, KY;
1 brother: Troy Tabor, Jr. and wife, Julia, Alvaton, KY;
1 sister: Beccy White and husband, Art, Bowling Green, KY;
3 grandchildren: Maddox Shockley, Macon Shockley and Millie Shockley.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Eddie Tabor, Troy Tabor, Jr. and Russ Atwood officiating and burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. Saturday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.
