Tomorrow is primary election day in Kentucky, and Barren County voters have a choice in where they vote, as they are not restricted to vote in the precinct in which they live.
All eligible Barren County voters can vote at any one of the following locations:
Barren County High School Gym
Cave City Convention Center
Austin Tracy Volunteer Fire Department
Haywood Volunteer Fire Department
Hiseville Elementary School
Park City Lions Club
Temple Hill Elementary School
Beckton Community Center
Glasgow Middle School
As this is a primary election, voters may only choose candidates of the same party in which the voter is registered.
Republican voters will be casting ballots for five state offices, including:
For governor; Jacob Clark, David O. Cooper, Kelly Craft, Eric Deters, Bob DeVore, Mike Harmon, Alan Keck, Dennis Ray Ormerod, Ryan Quarles, Johnny Ray Rice, Robbie C. Smith, and Daniel Cameron.
For Secretary of State; Stephen L. Knipper, Allen Maricle, and Michael Adams.
For Auditor of Public Accounts; Derek Petteys and Allison Ball.
For State Treasurer; Mark H. Metcalf, O.C. “OJ” Oleka, and Andrew Cooperrider.
And for Commissioner of Agriculture; Jonathan Shell and Richard Heath.
Democratic voters will be casting ballots for two state offices, including:
For governor; Peppy Martin, Geoffrey “Geoff” Young, and Andy Beshear.
And for Commissioner of Agriculture, Mikael Malone, and Sierra J. Enlow.
Polling locations in Barren County, and across the state, will be open tomorrow, May 16th, from 6:00am until 6:00pm local time.
