GLASGOW – Glasgow Police say they arrested a Glasgow man after a “brief vehicle pursuit” Thursday afternoon.
Officers located a vehicle being operated by Nathaniel A. Vincent, 34, and confirmed that he had active warrants
for his arrest.
According to an arrest citation narrative the pursuit ended after Vincent “lost control of the vehicle, nearly striking multiple vehicles, and came to a stop sideways up against the curb at the intersection of West Main Street and Industrial Drive.”
After being given multiple verbal commands to exit the vehicle, Vincent “rammed” the rear of a police cruiser doing an estimate of over $1,000 in damage, according to the citation.
Vincent was arrested and charged with Fleeing or Evading Police 1st degree (Motor Vehicle), Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree (Police Officer), Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree, Reckless Driving, Failure to wear seat belts, Resisting arrest, Criminal Mischief 1st Degree, Assault 3rd Degree (Police Officer), Operating on suspended or revoked Operator License.
Vincent was also served with outstanding warrants and lodged at the Barren County Detention Center.
The arrest was made by Officer Josh Hardin. He was assisted at the scence by Officer Ward and Recruit Officer Roderick.
