GLASGOW — A woman was arrested just outside the city limits of Glasgow Sunday after a brief police pursuit.
Glasgow police arrested Shantelle E. Ochoa, 29, along Bishop Road. Officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop along West Main Street. She failed to stop and later turned onto Bishop Road, a news release said.
Ochoa allegedly stopped the vehicle and fled on foot from officers. She was apprehended a short time later.
Ochoa faces a slew of charges including first-degree fleeing or evading police, first-degree wanton endangerment, first-degree unlawful imprisonment. She also faces several traffic infractions.
Ochoa was served three outstanding felony warrants, too. Jail records indicate she is being held without a bond. She is expected to appear in court on Monday.
Officer Allen Ward arrested the woman.
