Girls’ Fourth Region Basketball tournament set

BOWLING GREEN — The bracket has been revealed for the Girls’ Fourth Region Basketball tournament set to tip off on Sunday afternoon.

The draw took place Friday morning at the Warren East High School with coaches, athletic directors, and media members present.

Sunday, Feb. 26

Game 1: District Winner – Barren County will play District Runner-up  – Clinton County. Tipoff is slated for 3 p.m.

Game 2: District Winner – Russellville will play District Runner-up  – Greenwood. Tipoff is slated for 4:30 p.m.

Monday, Feb. 27

Game 1: District Winner – Bowling Green will play District Runner-up  – Glasgow. Tipoff is slated for 6 p.m.

Game 2: District Winner – Metcalfe County will play District Runner-up  – Logan County. Tipoff is slated for 7:30 p.m.

The semi-finals will take place on Friday, March 3 with the first game tipping off at 6 p.m. The championship game is slated for Saturday, March 4 at 6:30 p.m.

The entire tournament will be hosted at WKU’s E.A. Diddle Arena in Bowling Green.
