GLASGOW — Two schools in Barren County will be closed Tuesday due to the inclement winter weather.
The closures will be a regular snow day with no NTI work required.
Barren County Schools said a makeup day will be announced at a later date.
“Due to inclement weather, today, January 31st, is a snow day for all Barren County Schools,” the district said in a message early Tuesday morning. “No instructional activities are scheduled. A makeup day will be announced at a later date. Stay warm and safe.”
Caverna Independent Schools said in a Facebook post early Tuesday, “There will be NO SCHOOL today, January 31! This is a traditional snow day- no NTI work needs to be completed. Be careful and stay warm, Colonels!”
