GLASGOW — The funeral arrangements for a teacher killed in a crash along North Jackson Highway last week have been finalized.
Robin L. Rutledge, 22, of Magnolia, died Friday after colliding in a head-on manner with a Hart County school bus. She was a music teacher in Barren County at North Jackson Elementary.
Rutledge was a 2018 graduate of Hart County High and later graduated from Campbellsville University in 2022, according to her obituary. She married Jacob Rutledge on June 12, 2021.
A public visitation is scheduled from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 12; noon to 7 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 13; and after 9 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 14. A funeral service is planned for 11 a.m. on Saturday. All times are Central Standard Time. Both the visitation and funeral will be held at the Rowletts Baptist Church where Rutledge was the pianist.
The family requests donations be made to the Hart County band parents fund in lieu of flowers. The address is 10772 North Jackson Hwy., Magnolia, KY 42757.
