Richard Lowell Isenberg

Richard Lowell Isenberg, 84, of Mobile, AL, formerly of Monroe County, KY passed away Wednesday, December 21, at Gulf Coast Health & Rehab in Mobile, AL.

Lowell was born in Monroe County, KY, on October 13, 1938, a son of the late Sherman and Elma (Hall) Isenberg.

Lowell was a graduate of Gamaliel High School in 1956. He worked at Isenberg T.V. & Appliances for his brother, Kenneth. He was of the Church of Christ faith.

Lowell is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Merrill and John Riley, of Chesterfield, VA and Sandra and Ken Sils of Mobile, AL; four grandchildren, Leah (Charles) Burden, Lauren Riley, Nathaniel Sils, Andrew (Caroline) Sils,  four great-grandsons, Carter, Mason, Brady and Nolan Sils; one brother also survives, Marshall Isenberg, and wife, Sue, of Tompkinsville, KY, and two sister-in-laws, Helen Isenberg, of Gamaliel, KY and Lois Eileen Isenberg of Lakeville, IN.

Other than his parents, Lowell is preceded in death by his wives, Cleta Turner Isenberg and Sue Hendrix Isenberg, an infant daughter, and two brothers, Truman and Kenneth Isenberg.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 30, at 1:00 p.m. at Yokley Trible Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Isenberg Cemetery.

Visitation is Friday morning after 11:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. at Yokley Trible Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Lowell’s memory may be made to Isenberg Cemetery.
