Lynn Ellen Whittington, 64 of Rossville, GA went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, December 7th, 2022. She is now absent from the body but present with her Lord.
Lynn was born in McKeesport, PA, graduated from Bowling Green High School class of 1977 in Bowling Green, KY, and attended Clarks Summit University where she studied Education. She worked as a Hospital Ward Clerk for the Medical Center at Bowling Green for many years and as a Home Health Aide. Lynn loved her patients dearly and they became like family to her. She most recently worked as a Customer Service Manager at Kangroo and was very dedicated to her job. Lynn attended GraceWorks Church and was active in their shut in ministries. She enjoyed crafting which included making creative and uplifting cards to send to shut in’s in the community. Lynn was an avid Pittsburg Steelers fan, she loved animals, and had “the sweetest spirit.” She was known for her kind and loving heart and whoever she encountered she impacted in a positive and lasting way. Lynn you are dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
Lynn was preceded in death by her parents, Reverend Blair and Doris Whittington; brother, Tom Whittington; sisters-in-law, Thia Ann Whittington and Geneva Whittington.
A private burial will be held for Lynn’s family on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at the Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery.
