William “Kenneth” Staples

William “Kenneth” Staples, 81, of Glasgow passed away November 16, 2022, at the Shanti Niketan Hospice Home with his family by his side. Kenneth was a native of Barren County, A son of the late Rev. Richard and Thelma Staples.

He was a member of Greater Vision Baptist Church, and a 32nd Degree Mason and a Shriner. Kenneth was a retired farmer, worked in the tobacco warehouse for 50 plus years, and was a painter. He loved fishing, was an avid hunter, and golfer. He was a family man and friend to all.

Kenneth is survived by his loving wife 58 years, Betty Kinslow Staples; two daughters, Kim Forbis (Tommy) and Lee Ann Tarry (Roscoe); two granddaughters, Taylor Copas (Jacob) and Lindsey Beck (Sam); five great grandchildren, Cecilee Copas, Jax Copas, Cash Copas, Waylon Haynes and Ryver Beck; a brother, Tommy Staples Sr; and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM, Tuesday, November 22nd, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Monday, and Tuesday morning until time for services at the funeral home.
