Mr. Haskel Ray “Hack” Jameson, age 77, of Cave City, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at TJ Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, Kentucky. Hack was born in Barren County on February 28, 1945, a son of the late Leon Jack and Mary Crabtree Jameson. He graduated from Park City High school in 1963, and married Sandra Edward Key on November 8, 1964. Hack was owner and operator of C & J Auto Sales, and after retiring he worked part time for Wyatt Distributing at Walmart. He was a member of Cave City Baptist Church, and enjoyed fishing with his buddies, Jackie Coop and Cameron Atwell.
In addition to his wife of fifty-eight years Sandy, he is survived by a daughter, Jeana Jameson of Cave City, and one grandson, Keylan Bailey. One sister Diane Stewart and her husband Barry, one sister-in-law, Diane Crabtree, a special niece Pam Waters, a special niece Spencer Waters, and one niece and nephew also survive.
In addition to his parents, Leon Jack, and Mary Crabtree Jameson, he was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Talmage Crabtree.
Funeral Services will be conducted at Cave City Baptist Church on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. with burial to follow in the Cave City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Bob Hunt Funeral Chapel on Friday, November 18, 2022, from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday after 9:00 a.m. until time for services at 2:00 p.m. at Cave City Baptist Church.
Pallbearers: Spencer Waters, Tony Waters, Cameron Atwell, Les Atwell, Leon Atwell, Coy Neal, Coy Allen Neal, and Barry Stewart.
Honorary Pallbearers: Keylan Bailey, Jackie Coop and Kevin Coop.
