GLASGOW — A man was injured in a car crash Monday afternoon along Scottsville Road in Barren County.
The Barren County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 3000 block of the roadway around 4:35 p.m. A vehicle had crashed through a guard rail.
Carl Vincent of Glasgow was driving a 2011 Lincoln northbound along the roadway and was allegedly swerving, according to a nearby witness. The witness, who was traveling the opposite direction, said the Lincoln hit the right side of a guardrail and then crossed the centerline in front of their vehicle.
Vincent’s vehicle hit the a guardrail on the left side of the roadway and traveled down a hillside about 30 yards from Highway 31E.
Vincent was transported to T.J. Samson Hospital and was later transferred to University Hospital in Louisville.
