GLASGOW — Authorities responded to a crash Wednesday morning involving a pickup truck and a horse-drawn buggy just before 11:40.
The Glasgow Police Department said the crash happened near Sorensen Drive and Grandview Avenue. Officers made contact with two subjects.
Roger Richardson was driving a 2019 gray Dodge Ram pickup truck, and Daniel Yoder was operating the buggy. An adult male passenger was inside the buggy, too.
Richardson said as he passed Sorensen Drive in the eastbound direction, he approached a hill crest. That’s when he noticed the buggy and attempted to stop. He was unsuccessful, he said. While it is unclear if anyone was injured, all parties refused medical treatment at the scene.
The roadway was reopened by 11:58 a.m., according to police.
