Anthony Wayne “Tony” Smith, age 68, of Beaumont, KY passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2022 at his residence. He was born on February 08, 1954 in Beaumont, KY to the late Flo Martin Smith and William “Bill” Smith. Tony spent the majority of his life dairy, tobacco, and cattle farming and being a self-employed truck driver.
He is survived by one daughter, Halee Smith of Bowling Green; one son, Johnathon Carter (Amy Miller) of Beaumont; one sister, Jean Franks of Texas; and two grandchildren, Waylon Miller and Case Carter.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Medford and Larry Smith; and two sisters, Carol Smith and Diane Wood.
Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, September 29 at 1:00 PM from the McMurtrey Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Beaumont Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 28 from 4PM until 8PM and will continue on Thursday, September 29 from 8AM until service time at 1PM.
