Deltha Childress Logsdon, 98 of Cub Run, KY passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at NHC HeathCare Glasgow.
Deltha a skilled homemaker and farmer, was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was known throughout the community for her hard work throughout her life including work as an operator of the Cub Run Creamery, a cook and server at Cub Run School & Cub Run Dairy Freeze, and owner of an upholstery business for many years. She was an active and long-time member of the Cub Run United Methodist Church. Other community involvement included the Hart County Fair and the Cub Run Homemakers. She also drove the flower van and arranged flowers for Mrs. Druen at Sego Funeral Home.
Deltha was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Dorothy Childress, her husband of 60years, Edward Logsdon, her sister, Wyona Martin, her brother, Arnold Lee Childress, and her loving daughter, Priscilla Stith.
She is survived by her dedicated son-in-law, Houston Stith of Cub Run, KY; her granddaughters, Kim Kessler and her husband Tim, of Munfordville, KY, and Jill Menser and her husband, Tim, of Owensboro, KY; three great-grandchildren, Zac Menser, Will Menser, and Ally Sweet and her husband, Hunter; one great-great-granddaughter, Ava Sweet.
Funeral service for Deltha Childress Logsdon will be 1pm Saturday, September 24th in the chapel of Sego Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Menser and Bro. Jack Chadwell officiating. Burial will be in the Cub Run Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 10am Saturday at the Sego Funeral Home.
In leiu of flowers, the family request that memorial donations may be given to the Cub Run Methodist Church or to the Cub Run Cemetery fund. These donations may be left at the funeral home.
