Delmar Russell “Russ” Kerr, age 82, of Bowling Green, KY, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at the Medical Center of Bowling Green. He was of the Baptist faith and a truck driver. He enjoyed carpentry, golf, and playing corn-hole. He was the son of the late Franklin Kerr and the late Dorothy Burns Kerr. He is preceded in death by his two daughters, Rosa Faye Boyd and Tina Marie Kerr.
He is survived by his children, Russell Howard Kerr and his wife Sunshine, Bowling Green, KY, Timothy Stantz, OH, Daniel Ray Kerr and his wife Cathy, Manchester, IN, Stacy Griggs and her husband Steve, McClure, OH; one brother, Elery Kerr, Denver, CO; 14 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM CT, Saturday, September 17, 2022. and from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM CT, Sunday, September 18, 2022 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral servicse will be held at Brooks Funeral Home at 2:00 PM, Sunday, September 18, 2022. Interment will be at Wilkins Cemetery, Mammoth Cave, KY.
