Jimmy Dale Bryant

Jimmy Dale Bryant, age 61, of Tompkinsville passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2022, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He was born on August 6, 1960, the son of the late John Denton and Ann Runelle (Spears) Bryant. Jimmy married Shelia Lynn Vibbert on September 9, 1982. He proudly served in the United States Army and was a logger and horse trainer. Jimmy loved to fish and ride horses and was a member of the Calvary Christian Assembly.

He is survived by two daughters, Amanda Lynn (Bryant) Trapp and husband Tony of Smithville, Tennessee, and Amber (Bryant) Gallup and husband James of Tompkinsville, Kentucky; two sons, Keith Walker and wife Marie and Ethan Bryant both of Tompkinsville, Kentucky; four sisters, Judy Spencer and husband Charlie of Indianapolis, Indiana, Patty Branham and husband Joey, Arline Patterson and husband Michael, Tommy Bartley and wife Sarah and Tonya Bartley all of Tompkinsville, Kentucky; ten grandchildren, Holden, Gage, Caleb, Kaden, Bryson, Kasen, Kenzlie, Dakota, Destiny, and Dalton; one great-grandchild Grayson also survives.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his spouse, Shelia Lynn Bryant; two brothers, Lonnie, and Larry Barlow Bryant.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Thursday, July 21 at Bartley & Sons Funeral Home with burial in Old Mt. Hermon Cemetery.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 20 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Thursday morning after 8:00 am until the time for the service.

Pallbearers: Anthony, Holden & Bryson Trapp, Kaleb, Kaden, & Kasen Eldridge

Honorary Pallbearers: John Boy Vibbert, Eddie Smith, Tony Trapp, Jamie Clark, Josh Bryant, Terry Welch, Keith Walker, and James Gallup

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations for funeral expenses, and these may be made at the funeral home.
