GLASGOW — A dinner show planned this weekend and produced by the Far Off Broadway Players has been canceled due to illness among cast and crew.
“Dearly Departed” was slated to be shown July 15-17 at the Cave City Convention Center. Two days of the showing were planned luncheon and dinner shows.
“The Far Off Broadway Players sincerely apologize to all their wonderful sponsors and patrons for having to make this very difficult decision,” according to a post made to the FOBP Facebook page.
The production was rescheduled to July 7-9, 2023, at the convention center, according to the post.
Those who purchased tickets online will be reimbursed by the ticket company, the post said. Notification of a refund should occur within 24 hours of Monday afternoon’s announcement. Those who have complimentary tickets will be allowed to use them at next year’s showing.
