EDMONTON — A Metcalfe County woman was arrested Tuesday evening after a drug investigation.

Gena M. Couch-Rowe, 48, was arrested after the area drug task force, Kentucky State Police and Metcalfe Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant along Greensburg Road.

Authorities allegedly found two pounds of processed marijuana packaged for resale. Several forms of edible marijuana were included in the findings, they said. Several prescription controlled substances, various types of paraphernalia, a loaded .22 caliber pistol and a large sum of money was also found, according to a news release from the Metcalfe Sheriff’s Office.

Couch-Rowe faces charges relating to trafficking in marijuana (8 ounces to 5 pounds), possession of drug paraphernalia and third degree possession of a controlled substance. She was lodged at the Barren County Detention Center but was released Wednesday morning, according to jail records.
