Joyce Carol Vibbert Harper passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at the Monroe County Medical Center. Born January 31, 1943 in Willow Shade, KY she was a daughter of the late Vince and Pearl Dubree Vibbert.

She was a homemaker and was of the Church of Christ faith.

Survivors, include one daughter, Sheila (Ed) Smith, Summer Shade; seven grandchildren, Suelena Smith, Michela (Joshua) Page, Sierra (Tony Tinsley) Harper, Cassie Reece, Joseph Meers, R D Harper and Brittany Harper; three special grandchildren, Ryan (Amanda) Purcell, Dillon Maynard and Latsha Jewell; 12 great grandchildren, Preston, Penelope and Paxton Page, Tymber  Smith, Macie Strode, Jayden and Issac Smith, Stetson Reece, Kade Swift, Isabel Onate, Chevy and Aubrey Purcell; and special niece Carolyn Nunnally.

Preceding her in death, besides her parents were her husband, Darrell Harper; one son, Stevie Harper and two brothers Minvel and Buddy Vibbert.

Funeral services will be Saturday, June 4, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at McMurtrey Funeral Home with Jackson Page officiating. Burial will follow in the Skaggs Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, June 3, 2022, 3:00-8:00 PM and on Saturday, June 4 after 8:00 A.M. until time of services at 11:00.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to assist the family with funeral expenses.
