Joe Glen McCoy. Age 72, of Bowling Green passed away Thursday, May 5, 2022, at his residence. A Barren County native Joe was born in Glasgow on February 6, 1950, to the late Glen” Billy McCoy and Aline (Kinslow) McCoy. He was a construction worker and attended Gospel of Peace Church.
He is survived by his wife Beverly Jean (Lohden) McCoy; three children, James “Lukeus” McCoy (Becca) of Bowling Green, Robert Steenbergen (Faith) of Scottsville, and a daughter Leresa Steenbergen of Bowling Green; five grandchildren, Chloe Steenbergen (Luke), Wesley Steenbergen, Camden Steenbergen, Jordan Steenbergen, and Willow Steenbergen all of Scottsville; one sister, Brenda McClellan of Glasgow; two brothers-in-law, Max Lohden (Kim) of Bowling Green and Garry McClellan of Glasgow; four nephews, Mickey McClellan, Marty McClellan, Max Lohden Jr, and Matthew Lohden; several aunts, uncles and cousins also survived.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, May 10th, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home. Visitation will be 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Monday and Tuesday morning until time for the service at the funeral home. Cremation will follow.
