Brenda Joyce Highbaugh, age 80, of Bonnieville, KY, passed away Thursday, April 21, 2022, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown, KY. She was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church. She was a homemaker, farmer, she worked at Louisville Bedding and Osarware in Bonnieville, She enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family.
She was the daughter of the late Joe Davis Houk and Elvira Defevers Houk.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Dobbie Highbaugh; two brothers, Roy and Joe Gordon Houk.
She is survived by two sons, Marshall Highbaugh (Karen), Bonnieville, KY and Marty Highbaugh (Mary), Bonnieville, KY; four grandchildren, Jessie Highbaugh, Bonnieville, KY, Brenda Marshell Tope, Clarksville, TN, Heather Parks, Cave City, KY and Ashley Pickerel, Glasgow, KY.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. CT on Friday, April 22, 2022 and again on Saturday, April 23, 2022 from 8:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m. CT at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. CT on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at Brooks Funeral Home with Bro. Mikey Clemmons officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery, Bonnieville, KY.
