Rosie Nell Perkins

Rosie Nell Perkins, age 78 of Glasgow, KY, passed away Sunday, April 10,

2022 at her home. Rosie Nell was born in 1944 to the late Kirk Barbour and

Rosie Neal. She grew up in Hart County and attended school in Munfordville,

KY. Rosie confessed her hope in Christ at an early age, she attended Little

Blue Springs Baptist Church, where she served as a Sunday school teacher

and church clerk. She enjoyed fishing, reading, sewing and giving to the

community. Rosie had a very generous heart, she made quilts for the

homeless as well as for the residents in the nursing home. She was married

to the late James Perkins and the late Cleon Payton.

She is preceded in death by nine brothers, three sisters, two

grandchildren, two great-grandchildren,

She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, James Perkins (Monica) and

Christopher Perkins; four daughters, Kathy Mitchell (Jay T), Patsy Perkins

(John Edmonds), Lisa Hatchett (Kerry) and Jamie Estes; 15 grandchildren; 22

great-grandchldren; six great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Clara

Miller; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. CT on Tuesday,

April 12, 2022 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at

 1:00 p.m. CT on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at Brooks Funeral Home with Rev.

Josh Miller and Rev. Donald Wood officiating. Cremation will follow.
