Howard Wells, age 78, of Summer Shade, passed away on Saturday, April 09, 2022 at T.J Samson Community Hospital.
He was born on July 13, 1943 in Summer Shade, to the late Lawrence Howard and Ruba Elizabeth “Humble” Wells. Howard was a farmer and a member of the Summer Shade Christian Church.
Survivors include two sisters, Judith Ostrander and husband Wayne of Shepherdsville, and Frances Alexander and husband Gilliam of Louisville; several loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, April 12; at 11:00 A.M. at the McMurtrey Funeral Home with Bother Bill Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in the Gee Harvey Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 11 from 4-6 P.M. and on Tuesday, April 12, from 8 until service time at 11 at McMurtrey Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Gee Harvey Cemetery and can be left at the funeral home.
