Bulie Deckard Jr., 85, of Tompkinsville, KY passed away Friday, April 8th, while in the company of family, at T J Samson Hospital, Glasgow, KY.
Bulie was born in Gamaliel, KY on May 25, 1936, a son of the late Ruby (Hargis) and Bulie Deckard, Sr. He was a 1954 Graduate of Gamaliel High School. He retired from Key Industries after 40 years of service, he was a farmer & was a Baptist. He married Nelda Jenkins who survives, January 13, 1962 at the home of Brother Rex Hunt in Austin Tracy, KY.
Bulie is survived by a daughter, LaDonna, wife of Geoff Pare, of Gamaliel, KY;
three sons Rodney, husband of Tammy Deckard, of Edmonton, KY; Bradley, husband of Dana Deckard, of Daphne, AL; Coby, husband of Allie Deckard, of Nashville, TN.
7 Grandchildren, Grayson Pare, Gibson Pare & Tessa, Nicholas Deckard, Alison Deckard, Sarah Shrum & Ethan, Taryn & Oliver Deckard & 4 Great-Grandchildren, Garon Henry, Gavin, Gideon & Jasmine Pare.
Bulie is also survived by siblings, Linda Montgomery of Bowling Green, KY, Jesse Deckard & Willene & Terry Deckard & Mary of Tompkinsville.
His Parents, Bulie & Ruby Deckard, son, James Gregory Deckard, brothers, David & Sammy Deckard & sister, Lola Fox preceded him in death.
Funeral Service will be held 3 PM on Sunday, April 10th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY. Brothers Mark Copass & Terry Dismon will officiate.
Visitation will be held 5 PM to 8 PM on Saturday, April 9th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY & 9 AM to 3 PM on Sunday, April 10th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY.
