Man charged with ‘eavesdropping’ after recording social services interview

CAVE CITY — A Barren County man was charged with eavesdropping after he tried to record a conversation between children and a social worker.

The Cave City Police Department responded to a domestic complaint Tuesday along Grinstead Mill Road. Officers responded with social services. They conducted an interview with children in the home.

Officers alleged Blake T. London, 30, of Cave City, attempted to record the interview. They did not specify what type of device he used.

London was placed under arrest. Police allegedly located marijuana on his person, they said. He was charged with eavesdropping, installing an eavesdropping device, possession of marijuana and buying or possessing drug paraphernalia.

He is lodged at the Barren County Jail. It’s unclear if he has an attorney.
