Kenneth Harold Grider, 83, of Hiseville, KY, passed away Sunday, March 27, 2022, at the T.J. Samson Community Hospital. He was born in Hiseville, KY on July 3, 1938, to the late Haskel Kenneth Grider and Inus Mae Sneed Grider.
Mr. Grider is a Retired Veteran member of the Kentucky Army National Guard’s, 1st Battalion, 623rd Field Artillery Regiment. He proudly served with the 1st Battalion in Desert Storm. Kenneth was a lifetime farmer and was of the Baptist Faith. He will be missed by all that knew him.
Survivors include a son, Kenneth Harold Grider II (Kristi) of Versailles, KY; daughter, Wilma Lee Grider of Hiseville, KY; grandchildren, Harrison & Kenton Grider of Versailles, KY; two sisters, Caroline Bishop (Wayne) and Belinda Bishop (Joe) both of FL; several nieces and nephews to include, Billy Joe Honeycutt (Tammie), Robert Honeycutt (Sherry), Johnny Honeycutt, Jane Ann Gassaway (Wallace), and Mary Ruth Jessie; his former wife, Dora Ann Crenshaw also survives.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters, Jean Bond, and Margie Shugart; one brother, Cecil Grider.
A Graveside service will be held 10:00am, Wednesday, March 30th at the Hiseville Cemetery. Veteran of Foreign Wars, Post 6937 of Brownsville, KY will be providing Military Honors at the graveside service. A.F. Crow is honored to be entrusted with the care of Mr. Grider.
