William Eugene “Billy” Hargrove age 69 passed away Thursday night, March 17th at his home in Munfordville.
He was the son of the late Eugene Hargrove & Nora Gardner Charbonneau. Billy was a graduate of Cub Run High School. He worked at International Harvester for 14 years and at McKesson Pharmaceutical for 19years. Besides working, Billy enjoyed sports, usually if he wasn’t playing or refereeing he could be found watching games. He loved fishing and being outside. He enjoyed reading his Bible daily, he was ordained as a Deacon on Nov. 1st, 1981. Billy served at Highview Baptist Church in Louisville, Powel’s Chapel & Lascassas Baptist Church in Murfreesboro, TN. He was also a Sunday school teacher.
He was preceded in death by his sister Nance Hargrove Satterwhite.
Billy is survived by his wife-Sara Craddock Hargrove and their sons William “Tony” Hargrove and his wife Stephanie & Robert “Andy” Hargrove and his wife Amanda also their grandchildren Tobias, Adam, Alyana and Gillian Hargrove.
Funeral services for William Eugene “Billy” Hargrove will be 2pm Sunday, March 20th in the chapel of Sego Funeral Home with Bro. Paul Hines officiating. Burial will follow in the Munfordville Municipal Cemetery.
Visitation will be Saturday from 1-8pm and on Sunday after 10am at the Sego Funeral Home. In memory of Billy memorial contributions may be given to the Munfordville Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 445, Munfordville, KY 42765.
