Nadine Thomas Turner

Nadine Thomas Turner, 87, of Fountain Run, KY passed away Tuesday, March 15th, at Signature HealthCare at U of L in Louisville, KY.

Nadine was born in Mud Lick, KY on September 4, 1934, a daughter of the late Neva Ree (Wheat) and E. “Jack” D. Thomas.

She married Willard Gene Turner on February 19,1955. He preceded her in death on November 22, 2018. She was a homemaker, nurse, and helper on dairy farms. Nadine enjoyed quilting and reading. She began a relationship with her Lord and Savior in 1947 at Bethlehem.

Nadine is  survived by a daughter, Janet Howard, and husband, George, of Louisville, KY; a son, Stephen Turner, and his wife, Tammy, of Old Hickory, TN; four grandchildren, Melanie Wendler, Michelle Martin, Jake and Gracie Turner; and two great grandchildren, Layla and Jaxon Martin.

Nadine is also survived by three sisters, June Collins, of Gamaliel, KY;  Ruth Stinson, of Florida;  Joyce Denham, and husband, Leon, of Louisville, KY; two brothers, Travis Thomas, and wife, Nelda, of Tompkinville, KY and  Ralph  Thomas, of Tompkinsville, KY.

Other than her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Richard Thomas.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, March 22nd at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery.

Visitation is Tuesday morning after 9:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM at Yokley Trible Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Nadine’s memory may be made to Bethlehem Cemetery.
