Metcalfe grand jury returns indictments

EDMONTON — Several indictments were returned by a Metcalfe grand jury during a session held Jan. 27 and Feb. 24, 2022. An indictment is an accusation only. It does not assert or prove innocence or guilt.

The series of indictments returned during the Feb. 24 session are listed below. The next session’s indictments will follow.

Ronnie D. Vincent, 49, of Edmonton, was indicted on charges relating to first degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and buying or possessing drug paraphernalia.

Charles A. Compton, 32, of Center, was indicted on charges relating to second degree strangulation, fourth degree assault (domestic violence) and fourth degree assault (minor injury).

Travis W. Rowe, 21, of Edmonton, was indicted on charges relating to second degree arson and first degree criminal mischief.

Aaron L. Logsdon, 26, of Horse Cave, was indicted on charges relating to third degree rape and second degree sodomy.

Scott Walden, 34, of Knob Lick, was indicted on charges relating to theft by unlawful taking or disposition ($1,000 or more but under $10,000).

Orion M. Grimm, 49, of Waynesburg, was indicted on charges relating to first degree burglary, fourth degree assault (domestic violence), fourth degree assault (minor injury) and second degree criminal mischief.

Ethan D. Lee, 28, of Edmonton, was indicted on charges relating to first degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), operating a motor vehicle while license revoked or suspended for driving under the influence and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

Indictments below were issued during a Jan. 27, 2022, convention of a grand jury.

Preston T. Cappiello, 21, of Edmonton, was indicted on charges relating to possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, possession of marijuana, buying or possessing drug paraphernalia, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of a controlled substance, inadequate silencer (muffler) and improper equipment.

Sebastian O. Howard, 22, of Bowling Green, was indicted on charges relating to trafficking in marijuana, buying or possessing drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, speeding 21 miles per hour over the limit and failure to produce an insurance card.

Mack C. Webb, 39, of Summer Shade, was indicted on charges relating to kidnapping (adult), fourth degree assault and persistent felony offender.

Clyde L. Endicott, 45, of Glasgow, was indicted on charges relating to first degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and buying or possessing drug paraphernalia.

Tracy A. Compton, 49, of Edmonton, was indicted on charges relating to first degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine).

Nathan D. Roth, 30, of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, was indicted on charges relating to possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, failure to register transfer of motor vehicle, failure of owner to maintain required insurance, improper registration plate and second degree persistent felony offender.
