Richard Lee Chambers, 80, Glasgow, died Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at his home. A native of Barren County, he was the son of the late Jack Frank Chambers and Flora Mae Spillman Chambers. He was a retired electrician and member of Siloam Baptist Church. He loved God, antiques, showing cattle, and anything to do with the outdoors.
He is survived by his wife: Carolyn Wheeler Chambers; one son: Richard Bradley Chambers (Gail); two daughters: Mary Sutton Strader and Kiley Elizabeth Muse (Jesse); one granddaughter: Katie Strader; two step-granddaughters: Megan Rigsby (John Pedigo) and Stephanie Sargent (Tyler); one step great granddaughter: Lily Pedigo; one brother: Ernest Chambers (Marilyn); two nephews: Blake Chambers and Brandon Chambers; two nieces: Jessica Constant and Pat Woods; His Fur Friend Tucker and his grand dogs; His cup runneth over with many other friends and family.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one brother: Jessie Frank Chambers and his wife Opal.
Funeral will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be 3:00 to 9:00 pm Tuesday, and after 10:00 am until time for services Wednesday at the funeral home.
