Mary Ann (Pedigo) England

Mary Ann (Pedigo) England, 85, of Gamaliel, KY passed away Friday, January 28th, at Clark Regional Hospital in Winchester, KY.

Mary was born in Monroe County, KY on May 11, 1936, a daughter of the late Hallie Jewell (Shockley) and Issac Newton McKinnley Pedigo.

She married Raymond D. England on November 1, 1975, and he preceded her in death on January 1, 2013.

She was a homemaker and farmer. She was a member of Rocky Hill Missionary Baptist Church.

Mary is survived by two daughters, Carolyn Moore, of Gamaliel, KY;
Phyllis Eldridge, of Gamaliel, KY; a son, Billy Ray Key, of Kentucky; two grandchildren that she raised, Latosha Dooley and Cassie Watson; four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Mary  is also survived by a sister, Betty  Ann Ford, of Tompkinsville, KY and a brother, Jimmy D. Pedigo, of Adolphus, KY.

She is preceded in death by a son, Nelson McKinnley Key; two brothers, Owen Rex and William Pedigo; and two sisters, Judy Coulter and Laverne Jewell Scott; and one grandson.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, February 1st at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY, with burial to follow at Rocky Hill Cemetery.

Visitation is Monday, 5-8 PM, and Tuesday, after 8:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary’s memory are suggested for funeral expenses.
