Jeanetta Maurice Richardson

Jeanetta Maurice Richardson, age 85, of Glasgow passed away Friday, January

14th at the Shanti Niketan Hospice Home in Glasgow. She was a loving and

caring Christian, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a home

maker and attended Coral Hill Baptist Church.

 

She was born in Glasgow, KY, to the late Elbert and Maude Owens Levi.

Besides her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband of 47

years, Jack Lewis Richardson Sr., four sisters: Edna Cherry, Mary Moore,

Margaret Spencer, and Hazel Hurt, three brothers: Owens Levi, Bub Levi, and

Roy Levi, and two great-granddaughters: Adriana and Gabriella Ayala.

 

She was affectionately known as “Mama” and “Granny” to her family that

adored her.  Her memory will be honored by: three daughters: Linda Mutter

(Joe), Judy Serafini (Eric), and Sandra Nunn (Jeff); two sons: Jack Lewis

Richardson Jr. (Colitta) and Roger Richardson (Michelle); eleven

grandchildren: Bennie Mutter(Lori), Lori White, Misty Nunn (Will), Savannah

Hill, Brandy Ayala (Miguel), Brian Pedigo (Shelby), Brittany Eaton, Heather

Richardson, Hunter Richardson, Brock Nunn, and Brooke Nunn. She is also

survived by sixteen great-grandchildren, Casey Sherfey (Courtney), Bethany

Mutter, Allie Mutter, Kassidy White, Tyler White, Parker Nunn, Levi Nunn,

Alaina Watson, Kayden Hill, Aiden Ayala, Jaxton Ayala, Max Ayala, Gerik

Pedigo, Brenin Pedigo, Roland Pedigo, and Emmett Pedigo. She is also

survived by her Highland Ridge Assisted Living family and loving caregivers

including Linda Thomas, Karen Copas, Marilyn Shaw, Teresa Jennings, Connie

Eaton, Pam Steele, and Helen Browning.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Shanti

Niketan Hospice Home in Glasgow.

 

Mrs. Richardson’s funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January

19th at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley

Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 18th, from

2:00-8:00 p.m. and Wednesday morning at 8:00 a.m. until time for the

service.
