GLASGOW, Ky. — Several people are without power across the area due to straight line winds and severe weather’s approach to the area around 1:15 a.m.

About 2,054  customers of Farmers RECC are without power, according to an outage map at 2:30 a.m. Several of those customers are in the Hart County region.

Though an official number of Glasgow EPB customers without power is not available, several across the greater portions of the city are without power.

Local authorities are responding to downed trees in the county. There is a known tree down along Hiseville Road and Mammoth Cave Street in Cave City.

In Warren County, Bowling Green Police are apparently on foot across the western portion of the city and the 31W Bypass has suffered some damage, according to preliminary reports to WCLU News Saturday morning. The National Corvette Museum has also suffered damage, according to those unconfirmed reports. These reports are unconfirmed at this time.

Folks should heed warnings from the National Weather Service. A tornado watch is in effect for the region through 8 a.m. Saturday.
