Mary Evelyn Ashley Knox, 91, of Lindseyville died Wednesday Nov. 3, 2021 at Edmonson Center in Brownsville.
The Edmonson County native was a homemaker, a member of First Southern Baptist
Church in Indianapolis and attended Faith Assembly of God in Smiths Grove. She was a
daughter of the late Ewing Granville Ashley and Ruth Ellen Lindsey Ashley and the
wife of the late Lynn Eugene Knox.
Surviving are a daughter, Pamela Wyatt of Winston-Salem, NC; a sister, Geraldine
Madison of Lindseyville; six grandchildren, Rebekah Whitfield, Josiah Knox, Justin
Knox, Darby Knox, Alycia Knox and Jacob Knox; and a great granddaughter, Sophia
Whitfield.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Ashley Knox
and Mark Knox; a sister, Isabelle Vincent; and three brothers, Granville Ashley,
David Ashley and Jonathan Mark Ashley.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday at Gravil Funeral Home with burial
to follow in Midway Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM Monday.
