Joe Logsdon

Joe Logsdon, age 80, of Brownsville, KY departed this life on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at Genesis Edmonson Center.  The Edmonson County native was born on April 19, 1941 to the late Veachel and Amanda Martin Logsdon.  He was married to Rita Tarter Logsdon, who preceded him in death.

Joe served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.  He retired as a carpenter, and was a member of Cedar Springs United Baptist Church.

He leaves to honor his memory— two daughters, Pam Tinsley (Russell) of Franklin and Regina Jackson Alexander (Michael) of Brownsville; six grandchildren, Blake Alexander, Stephanie Rouster, Rita Logsdon, Tabatha Logsdon, Cody Logsdon and Keeley Pierce (Corey); three great-grandchildren, Chrissy Garrett, Ava Garrett and Ryker Jake Alexander; two sisters, Audrey Age of Cave City and Jeanne Carmen (Mike) of Bowling Green and several extended family members, including Barry Lay and Teresa Davis. He was also predeceased in death by his son, William Scott Logsdon, his second love, Margaret Lindsey Jackson and five siblings.
