Hazel Cox Hunt 80 of Cave City, KY died Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at Signature Healthcare in Horse Cave.
She was born November 8, 1940 in Edmonson County, the daughter of the late Ed and Ellie Cox. Hazel was the youngest of their 13 children and is survived by her siblings, Lucy Logsdon of Park City, Ky George Cox of Bryan, Ohio and Charles Gipson of Cave City, Ky; her children, Carlene Wheelock ( John) of Auburn, Ky and Terry Sloan ( Tommy) of Franklin, Ky; grandchildren, Talitha Lutterman ( Doug) of Glasgow, Ky, Rick Hunt ( Sheri) and Holly Hogue ( Dustan) both of Scottsville, Ky and David Graf of Bowling Green, Ky ; great-grandsons, Tyler and Patrick Hunt both of Scottsville, Ky.
Hazel was a born again Christian with membership at Stockholm United Baptist Church.
She was immediately preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Dickie Dane Hunt. She was also preceded in death by her two sons, Mark Allen Hunt in 1967 and Rickie Dane Hunt, Sr in 2020.
Graveside services for Hazel Cox Hunt will be held at 2:30PM Sunday, August 29, 2021 at the Campground Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Campground Cemetery Fund. Bob Hunt Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements.
