Sandra Gail Sturgeon, 52, of Horse Cave, passed away Monday, June 28, 2021 at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow.
She was a Hart County native, a longtime employee at Hart County Bank, a loving mother, grandnanny and daughter. Sandy loved her family, the beach, and her grandbabies.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Maulden; a son, Timothy Daniel Mattingly, her paternal grandmother, Mary Frances Hayes; her maternal grandparents, Ruby and William “Dick” Jaggers.
Survivors include her husband, Tim Sturgeon; her daughter, Lori Beth Sexton, (Joey); her father, Sidney “Jam” Maulden; three grandchildren, Chandon, MaKennah, and Elias Sexton; four step-children, LaTasha Bean, Travis Sturgeon, Derek Sturgeon and Chasity Sturgeon; several step-grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m., Saturday, July 3, 2021, at Echo Mission Church with burial to follow at the Northtown United Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Winn Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 1-8 p.m., Friday, July 2nd, at Echo Mission Church and continue Saturday, from 8 a.m. until service time.
