Kenneth Allen “Kenny” Cook Barton

Kenneth Allen “Kenny” Cook Barton age 36 of Lexington died Friday at Baptist Health Lexington. He was born at Caverna Memorial Hospital on December 9, 1984.  Kenny had a degree in Business Management.  He was saved at the age of 14 and he was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church.  Kenny had a loving and caring heart, he had a personality that would light up a room.

He is survived by his mother, Carol Sharpensteen and husband James Trulock of Hardyville; his father, Roger Lawson and wife Robin of Glasgow; one brother, Sam Costello of Glasgow; three sisters, Misty Bailey and husband Terry and, Tina Wilcoxson all of Magnolia and Ariel Trulock of Hardyville; paternal grandmother, Anna Doolin of Glasgow nieces, Maddie Dennis and husband Seth, Lexie Bailey and companion Bobby Skaggs, Kailynn Wilcoxson and Gemma Costello; nephews, Logan Costello and Kylan Bailey and great niece, Harley Dennis.

Funeral services for Kenneth Allen “Kenny” Cook Barton will be held at 1PM Friday, July 2, 2021 at the Wilkerson Temple Methodist Church with burial in the Wilkerson Temple Cemetery.   Visitation from 2 to 8PM Thursday at the Sego Funeral Home and after 10am Friday at the church until time for services at PM.
