Linda Faye Cline

Linda Faye Cline, 54, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky passed away, Friday, June 25, 2021at the U of L Health Medical Center. She was born in Glasgow, Kentucky on May 27,1967 to the late James Thomas Fields and Verna Katherine Coomer Taylor, whosurvives. Linda was a warehouse worker for Amerisource Bergen. She is survived by one daughter, Jenny Riley (David); grandson, Jackson Riley; thelove of her life, James Michael Taylor and his wonderful children that she thoughtof as her own, Marcus Taylor, Jason Taylor, Nathan Taylor (Christie); fourgrandchildren, Brienna Taylor, Madison Taylor, Jaden Taylor, Phoenix Taylor; sixsiblings, James Fields, Jerry Fields, Nettie Fields (Louis), Robert Fields, PatriciaFancher (Gary), John Fields; and several nieces, nephews, and in-laws. Linda was preceded in death by two sisters, Ella Davis and Louise Simmons; onebrother, Mitchell Fields; and two sisters-in-law, Roberta Fields and MattieAnderson. Her main hobby was gardening; she could grow almost anything. Linda loved creatingflower gardens and if you ever saw her yard, you would understand. She was a friendto all who knew her and never met a stranger. Mrs. Linda was always willing to giveanyone a handup, but not a handout. She was described as a very strong woman,hard-working, stubborn, sarcastic, bold, and able to see people deeper than theycould themselves. Linda’s main achievement was being a single parent. Raising her daughter, Jenny, wasthe most wonderful time in her life. The love and respect between the two of themcould never be denied. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the AmericanCancer Society 952 Fairview Avenue Suite #4 Bowling Green, Kentucky 42101. The funeral service for Mrs. Cline will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, June 29th at A. F.Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitationwill be Monday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Tuesday morning until time for theservice at the funeral home. A.
