Bonnie Lou Thaxton, 66, of Scottsville, KY passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. The Indianapolis, IN native was a homemaker, former nurses aide and attended Faith Assembly Pentecostal Church. She was a daughter of the late Edward Griffin and Martie Agnes Polston Griffin.
She is survived by her husband: Edward Jr. Thaxton, Scottsville, KY;
2 daughters: Renee Stinson and husband, William “Buck”, Adolphus, KY and Daphne A. Slunaker and husband, Dewayne, Cottontown, TN;
2 brothers: Donald Griffin and wife, Debbie, Morehead, KY and Randall Griffin and wife, Glenda, Indianapolis, IN;
1 sister: Patricia Martin and husband, William, Jr., Columbia, KY;
8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 1 unborn great grandchild.
Funeral services will be 6:00 P.M. Friday at Faith Assembly Pentecostal Church with Bro. Buck Stinson officiating. Visitation will be 11:00 A.M. until funeral time at Faith Assembly Pentecostal Church. Graveside services will be 1:00 P.M. E.S.T. at Grove Ridge Cemetery with Bro. Buck Stinson officiating. Goad Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
