Tony Lee Batey, 44, Park City, died Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at the T J Samson Community Hospital from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. A native of Barren County, he was a son of Mary Alice Gulley Batey and the late Leon Woodson Batey. He was a self employed handyman.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife Jessica Frodge Batey; one daughter, Cheyenne Gumm (Austin); three grandchildren: Brentlee Lane, Chance Lee, and James Leon; one brother, Ronald Batey (Laura); one sister, Amanda Gail Batey; two nephews: Philip Michael Batey (Ariel) and Aaron Batey (Lacey); one brother-in-law, Mitchell Huff and wife Jessica; several great nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two sons: Tony Lee Batey, Jr. and Jessie Lee Batey.
Graveside services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. Saturday until time for services.
