Troy Dean Gipson age 72 of Brownsville died Sunday in Louisville.Troy Dean went to Cub Run High School and Edmonson County High School, where hegraduated in 1966. A few months after his graduation, he started working at GeneralElectric in Louisville and retired from there in 2001. He married Helen Fay Blaney in 1969. Their son Michael Joseph was born in October 1969. Helen passed away prematurely in 1981. Troy Dean enjoyed music of all kinds history and visiting historical sites. Hehad a kind, easy going way and was a loyal friend. Troy Dean is survived by his son Michael Gipson ; grandson Sean; his special friendJan Upchurch; two aunts, Helen Claycomb and Eva Ruth Oltman; many cousins; andcountless friends, including his breakfast buddies. A public walk-through visitation is scheduled for Troy Gipson from 12-2 PM Saturday May 15 at GravilFuneral Home. Graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday at Jaggers Cemetery.
