Glasgow Police arrest 3 on separate drug related charges

GLASGOW, Ky. — Glasgow Police made several drug arrests Wednesday.

Police conducted a traffic stop and made contact with Jennielynn Bennett and received to consent to search the vehicle. Police located gabapentin, hydrocodone, 40 grams of methamphetamine and a large amount of money.

Bennett, and a passenger, face several charges including first degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bobby W. Johnson was the passenger inside the car.

Both were lodged in the Barren County Jail.

A complaint that same day was also called in. Police responded to West Main Street.

An officer made contact with Zachery Ballou, of Russell Springs, and located marijuana inside his pocket. Ballou attempted to destroy the evidence and resisted arrest, according to a news release.

Ballou was charged with third degree criminal trespassing, possession of marijuana and resisting arrest. He also faces a tampering with physical evidence charge.
