Hubbard charged in connection to stolen, defaced firearm

GLASGOW, Ky. — A trooper with Kentucky State Police was arrested Monday after his connection to a possible stolen and illegal firearm in Barren County.

An internal investigation was opened, and Trooper Ben Hubbard, 28, was arrested. Police charged Hubbard with several charges.

He faces one count of first degree official misconduct, possession of a defaced firearm, tampering with physical evidence and receiving stolen property (firearm).
