Glasgow Police make numerous drug arrests Monday

Monday the Glasgow Police Department conducted a traffic stop on the Louie B. Nunn Parkway that results in a drug arrest. 

Sgt. Barton made contact with the driver identified as Jason B. Smith of Tompkinsville and confirmed that he had an active warrant for his arrest. Sgt. Barton located Marijuana inside Smith’s pants pocket and Methamphetamine inside the vehicle. 

 Smith., was arrested and charged with License Plate Not Legible, No Registration Plates, Trafficking In Control Substance 1^st Degree 1^st Offense, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession Of Marijuana.

 The arrest was made by Sgt. Jessie Barton, assisted by Officer Robert Jenkins.

Monday  Glasgow Police Department conducted a traffic stop on Happy Valley Road that lead to three people being arrested on drug charges.   

Officer John Warnock confirmed the vehicle had expired registration plates and the driver identified as Michael T. Mitchell of Horse Cave  did not have a valid operator’s license. Officer Warnock received consent to search of the vehicle where he located a firearm that was confirmed stolen, Cocaine, Marijuana, Drug Paraphernalia and scales.

Mitchell  was arrested and charged with Failure Of Non-Owner Operator To Maintain Required Insurance 1^st Offense, No Registration Plates, Operating On Suspended Or Revoked Operator License, Possession Of Firearm By Convicted Felon, Trafficking In Control Substance 1^st Degree 1^st Offense (>OR= 4GMS Cocaine), Possession Of Marijuana, Possession Drug Paraphernalia, Receiving Stolen Property (Firearm).

A passenger identified as Myrna G. Mills of Cave City Ky., was arrested and charged with Possession Control Substance 1st Degree 1^st Offense (Methamphetamine), Possession Drug Paraphernalia.

 A passenger identified as Sheena E. Lasley of Horse Cave Ky., was arrested and charged with Trafficking In Control Substance 1^st Degree 1^st Offense (>OR= 4GMS Cocaine), Possession Of Marijuana, Possession Drug Paraphernalia, Possession Control Substance 1^st Degree 1^st Offense (Drug Unspecified).

Officer  Warnock, was assisted by Officer Jewlie Robinson and Officer Trey Wyatt.
