Scottsville man flees Glasgow store in car after shoplifting

GLASGOW, Ky. – A Scottsville man was arrested at Walmart on Saturday after stealing goods from the store.

Officers made contact with two subjects in the parking lot. Police identified one man as Donald Harrison, 40, of Scottsville, and another man was not identified. Those two subjects began to flee the police.

The other man was apprehended after fleeing on foot. Harrison fled in a vehicle at a rate of speed before he was apprehended.

Officers located a syringe, digital scales and methamphetamine inside the vehicle.

Harrison was charged with theft by unlawful taking or disposition (shoplifting under $500), first degree fleeing or evading police (motor vehicle), first degree wanton endangerment (police officer), first degree possession of a controlled substance (first offense, methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
