Maribeth Siler 87 formerly of Peoria, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 25, 2013 at Magnolia Village in Bowling Green. She was a homemaker and loved to work in her flower garden. She was a former volunteer at the American Red Cross, Wildlife Prairie Park, Luthy Botanical Garden and Constitution Garden in Peoria, Illinois. She was a past member of the Navy Mother’s Club and Marine Corp League Auxiliary in Peoria, Illinois.

She is survived by one son, Robert J. Siler and wife Pamela of Glasgow; one daughter Mary Jane Chard and husband Ed of St. Louis, Missouri; one sister, Jane Weir of Gladstone, Illinois; one granddaughter, Kathryn Schormann and husband Jeffrey of Ellisville, Missouri; one grandson Bret Chard and eight-great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Kaitylyn, Megan and Jack Schormann of Ellisville, Missouri and Madilyn, Riley, Emma and Avery Chard of St. Louis, Missouri.

Funeral services for Maribeth Siler will be held at noon Saturday, March 2, 2013 at the Turnbull Funeral Home in Biggsville, Illinois with burial in the Biggsville Cemetery.  Visitation Saturday from 10 to 12noon.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross or to an organization of the donor’s choice. A. F. Crow and Son Funeral Home in Glasgow assisting the family with the arrangements.
