Robert “Ike” Hatcher, 76, Cave City, passed away at his farm on Friday, November 02, 2012. The Barren County native was the son of the late Cecil and Irene Laird Hatcher, a farmer and a member of New Hope Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He was the widower of Louise Sexton Hatcher.

Survivors include two sons, Jeffrey (Debbie) Hatcher, Tommy (Amanda) Hatcher; three brothers, Raymond Hatcher, Clifton Hatcher, Johnny Hillard (Lina Dean) Hatcher, all of Cave City; four grandchildren, Adam Hatcher, Seth Hatcher, Donna Hatcher, Chelsea Hatcher and a great grandchild, Skyler Raylynn Hatcher.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a sister, Edith Hogan and brother-in-law, Calvin Hogan.

Funeral services with Otis Sturgeon and Billy Vincent officiating will be at 1PM Monday, November 05 at the Bob Hunt Funeral Chapel with burial in the Cave City Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will be after 1PM Sunday.
