Gay LaBeryle Pierce, age 86 of Franklin died Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 3pm at Faith Baptist Church- 1008 West Cedar Street, Franklin, Kentucky. Burial will follow in the Sulphur Spring Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 27 at 11am until funeral service time at the church.
A native of Fort Worth, Texas, she was the daughter of the late Ben Watson Anderson and Eula Crocker Anderson. Mrs. Pierce taught Kindergarten for 2 years at the Dwight Baptist Academy in Dwight, Illinois and 26 years at the Faith Baptist Academy in Franklin, Kentucky.
She is preceded in death by her husband Bro. David Pierce and two sisters.
Survivors include: children – Michael Pierce (Jamie) of Dwight, Illinois, Mark Pierce (Lerinda) of Murfreesboro, Tennessee and Patti Perry (Kent) of Franklin; grandchildren – Nicholas Pierce (Alisha), Jared Pierce (Jenna), Justin Pierce, Heather Collett (Josh), Kacie Perry and Kyle Perry (Katie); great grandchildren – Grace, Landon, Brody, Kennedy and Dakota Pierce, Grayson, Carter and Ava Collett, Angelina, Nova Bradley and Ella Perry.
The family has requested that memorial gifts be made to Faith Baptist Academy, 1008 West Cedar Street, Franklin KY 42134.
